The Industrial Development Advisory Board is a group of independent experts whose key objective is to ensure that Government intervention or investment in industry is merited and delivers the best possible value for money. They were seeking individuals with successful business records to become non-executive board members.
In less than a month Nurole surfaced Kay Ashton, partner at Silverfleet Capital and NED at Ipes (Guernsey) Ltd. Kay was looking for new opportunities where she could offer her business skills and insights. Her extensive experience with reviewing investment opportunities in a wide variety of industries and geographies, made her the ideal candidate.
After more than 25 years in private equity I moved into a part time role and decided to look for additional opportunities where I could use my skills and experience to make a strong contribution. I joined Nurole in September, saw the position in December and was offered the role in April.
