Format: This is a webinar style Q&A session, which will be held online on Zoom. By registering for the event, you will be able to ask questions to the panel.

Who is the event for?: Housing association board members and executives who would like to discuss, compare notes and listen to current thinking on Board focus.
The Q&A session will cover:
- The best practices housing association boards are adopting and why
- The appropriate level of board involvement in shaping strategy, and challenging and supporting executives
- The biggest challenges on housing association leader’s minds
Participation: Participants will drive the session by raising their questions or voting for questions they want to be answered.
Q&A panel:
Alan Collett FRICS - Alan Collett is a Chartered Surveyor and non-executive Chair at A2Dominion, having taken up the role in March 2022. Having retired from his practice, Allsop LLP, as Senior Partner Alan was President of the RICS 2012/13 and he was awarded the Financial Times Non-Executive Director Diploma in 2013. He joined the Board of Hyde Housing Association in 2013, retiring as Chair in 2022.
Geeta Nanda - Geeta Nanda is Chief Executive of Metropolitan Thames Valley housing association. She is a board member of the National Housing Federation; former Chair of the G15, the group representing London’s largest housing associations; and a non-executive director of PRS REIT plc and Redrow plc. In 2013, Geeta was awarded an OBE for achievements in social housing.
Nick Murphy - Nick is a former Chief Executive of Nottingham City Homes with a background across local authorities, housing associations and the Civil Service. Experienced in Social Housing, Public Policy and Strategy development & delivery. Currently supporting a range of Boards to help them deliver success in challenging times.
