The Freud Museum London
Trustee
The Freud Museum London was the last home of Sigmund Freud, the founder of psychoanalysis, and his daughter Anna, pioneering child psychoanalyst. The Museum houses the collections which Sigmund Freud brought with him when he was forced to leave Austria in 1938, including the original psychoanalytic couch. They were looking for a new Trustee who had experience in project or financial management/fundraising/legal/media/learning. The successful candidate would provide strategic leadership and help deliver major capital development.
Through Nurole they found an ideal candidate in Stephen Kon, a former Lecturer in Law at University of Reading and University of Sussex, a former member of the Advisory Board European Research Institute for the University of Birmingham and current Trustee of the Association of Jewish Refugees.
This is the second time that we have used Nurole to recruit trustees. We found that through Nurole we attracted a broad group of well-qualified applicants, and were able to reach candidates with the skills and experience that we needed. On both occasions, we recruited some excellent new trustees, and were very pleased with the overall service.

I was fortunate to have been successful in a previous trustee application using the Nurole platform and was delighted to be able to use all the benefits of making applications through Nurole and familiarity with the highly effective Nurole process, in my application leading to my appointment as a trustee of the Freud Museum.
