Members of Council and Members of Finance Committee
The Open University is the largest academic institution in the UK, and has a significant global reach in over 150 countries. Its mission is to provide an education which reaches people of all ages and backgrounds and allows them to achieve their potential. It sought two experienced financial leaders to join the Finance Committee and two Members of Council: one to represent Wales offering expertise of educational policy in a devolved context; and another with expertise in digital transformation or information and cyber security. Additionally, the candidates needed to ideally bring perspective from its target student groups and under-represented groups within the University.
