Governor (Digital Strategy)
St Paul’s Girls’ School is looking for a Digital Strategy Governor to work with the school Digital Strategy Group (DSG) to ensure that its digital provision is neither the driving force nor the limiting factor in both the operation of the school and its aspiration to provide thought leadership in the engagement of new & emerging technology.
The successful candidate will have strong experience across IT, technology and AI. They will be interested in the use of technology in multi-disciplinary problem solving – Design Thinking / Systematic Inventive Thinking, for example. Applicants will have good, practical connections within the industry, and will have the ability to understand issues surrounding network security and certification. Ideally, they will have an interest in the engagement of emerging technology in education. Most importantly, the successful applicant will understand the importance of engaging young women in technology, and understand that technology is more than just STEM but can be engaged with across all disciplines.

Governor (Equality, Diversity & Inclusion)
St Paul’s Girls’ School is looking for an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) Governor to ensure that there are appropriate EDI policies and procedures in place within the school and to champion best practice. The EDI Governor will work with the School’s Director of Inclusion and will act as a point of contact for senior school staff should there be a need to escalate any EDI issues to board level.
The successful candidate will have a passion for, and knowledge of, Equality, Diversity and Inclusion matters. They will be committed to promoting the wellbeing of all students, and will have a track record of collaboration and influence at a senior level. The successful applicant may have professional experience in the EDI field, or may have a background in HR, Academia, or EDI law, but candidates from all professional backgrounds are welcome to apply.

Governor (Wellbeing)
St Paul’s Girls’ School is looking for a Wellbeing Governor to ensure that there are appropriate policies and procedures in place within the school and to champion best practice in all aspects of pastoral care. The Governor will work with the School’s Director of Pastoral Care and the Wellbeing Team, and will act as a point of contact for school staff should there be a need to escalate a wellbeing concern to Board level.
The successful candidate will be approachable, engaged and genuinely committed to the school community. They will have the capacity to understand, and to work with, all members of the Wellbeing Team, including the counsellors, the medical team, and the Chaplain. They will also have a sincere interest in developing the system of pastoral care to benefit all its stakeholders, including students; for example, including members of the RAISE Committee and the PSHE Ambassadors. A sense of humour is essential for the role.
Whilst a background in medicine, psychology or social care, or experience working with young people's mental health may be useful, this is not mandatory, and SPGS welcomes applicants from any professional background.
