About

Home to circa 1,000 pupils aged three to eighteen, Repton School is a world-class, modern, flourishing community with a clear sense of purpose and momentum. As a pre-eminent co-educational, boarding and day school in the heart of Derbyshire, Repton provides an exceptional broad-based education, blending heritage with the pursuit of excellence in a 21st-century context, offering world-class facilities as well as high-quality teaching and pastoral care.

Repton promotes a balanced approach to life, encouraging students to excel in academics, sports, extracurricular activities, and relaxation, nurturing well-rounded individuals. This balance is guided by five pillars: Pastoral Care, Academics, Sports, Extracurriculars, and Spirit of Place. Academic success at Repton does not come at the expense of students' interests in the arts, sports, or other passions.

Repton is committed to personalised learning and provides on-site access to academic staff for students. The School has received multiple award nominations, particularly in edtech, which played a crucial role in securing the Education Business Award for Best Response to Covid19. As a Microsoft Showcase School, Repton relies on Microsoft 365 to facilitate collaborative learning, offering flexible access to educational resources and seamless communication.

Repton was a pioneer amongst British schools in the international market with the establishment of Repton School Dubai in 2007. From this has sprung the Repton Family of Schools, the development of a global community which is key to Repton’s future vision. There are currently 11 schools within the Repton Family and, in the coming years, the School has exciting ambitions to grow its overseas footprint considerably. The School will also continuing to invest in its edtech offering, Repton Online, which enables teachers to bring their knowledge in specialisms such as Latin, Greek and STEM subjects, straight into classrooms across the globe.
