Nurole's social impact grows
Charities and not for profit organisations are reaping the benefits of Nurole's ability to cast the net wider and match the right people to the right roles.
The month of October saw Trustee appointments on the boards of E-Act (one of the UK's largest School Academy Trusts), the UK government's Industrial Development Advisory Board, employment charity Tomorrow's People, life science medical research charity LifeArc, children's theatre company Ga Ga Theatre, leading independent school St Paul's Girls' School, leading social enterprise consultancy The Social Innovation Partnership, the social network for people with multiple sclerosis Shift.ms, mental health charity The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families, and not-for-profit membership association for the UK's FinTech community, Innovate Finance.
Newly appointed Trustees and board members include executives from Rolls Royce, Paddy Power Betfair, Pernod Ricard, Paypal, Blippar, Silverfleet Capital, ITN, Montagu Private Equity, Allen & Overy, Clifford Chance and the Arcadia Group - amongst others.
Chief People Officer at Paddy Power Betfair, Sally Cairns, has been appointed Trustee at The Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families. She commented:
"Nurole is a great platform for busy people who don’t want to be inundated with emails but do want to be informed about relevant opportunities. We’re all so busy and probably too often guilty of putting our efforts to find a board role to the back burner. Joining Nurole is quick and easy and once signed up you only receive emails about roles that match your interests."
Nurole waives success fees for pro bono roles as we are passionate about helping charities and not for profits find the best people for their boards. We look forward to seeing the impact October's batch of new Trustees will have on the organisations they're working with.
Don't forget, we also make a donation to a charity of your choice - or offer a free role charity role posting - when you recommend someone who takes on a commercial role as a result of your recommendation. So if there is anyone in your network who might benefit from being a Nurole member, please recommend them.
And if you work with a charity or not for profit organisation who could benefit from using the Nurole platform to source high calibre, dedicated board members, please get in touch.
