Headhunter casts the net wider

Independent Search Partnership is a leading executive search firm founded by former Korn Ferry Partner Guy Beresford. Guy was running a search for the Chief Executive of Nisbets, the UK's largest supplier of catering equipment, and was not prepared to leave any stone unturned in finding his client the best candidate. In parallel to running a traditional search process, Independent Search Partnership cast the net wider by using Nurole to identify Klaus Goeldenbot, the successful candidate.

Guy Beresford's career in search stretches back to 1992, when he joined the London office of Russell Reynolds Associates. There he became head of the firm's Financial Officers Practice for Europe. In 1997 he co-founded The Miles Partnership with Miles Broadbent, remaining with the firm until he moved to Whitehead Mann in 2008. As a Partner in the firm's Board Practice, Guy handled a wide range of Board assignments and also headed the firm's Restructuring Practice and Family Businesses Practice. In 2010 he set up Independent Search Partnership which pioneered using Nurole's technology with their search and is now reaping the benefits.
