Nurole launches charity donation initiative and reflects on an incredible 2016

As 2016 draws to a close, we want to thank our members for their support over the last year by giving something back. If you’re the first person to recommend someone who gets a commercial role through Nurole from now until the end of January, we’ll donate £500 (or the $/€ equivalent) to a charity of your choice.

This is our way of saying thank you for making 2016 a landmark year for us. With your help, we’ve grown our global network to over 8,000 peer-recommended members, including almost half of Europe’s private equity CFOs. And the results speak for themselves:

We’ve posted over 150 board and executive roles (including our first FTSE 100 post and our first private equity backed chair and CEO).

36 Nurole members placed with charity boards this year (including The Royal Marsden NHS Foundation Trust, The Marshall Aid Commemoration Commission, Royal College of Art, Bowel Cancer UK, CAMBA New York and Sport England). 

Over 50% of our investment trust board placements were women.

We’ve continued to shake-up traditional boardroom demographics by placing three 32 year olds into their first board roles.

We’ve signed up the first of our executive search partners, using our Nurole network to fill top level posts in the US and Europe.

Our 2016 performance is why we were selected to join the Scale Up Club this year, following in the footsteps of big UK success stories like Transferwise and Swiftkey. By bringing true scalability to traditional board-level recruitment, our groundbreaking search and recommendation engine has earned us a place in their top 50 UK start-ups, reserved for companies tipped to reach a £100 million valuation within 3-5 years by Silicon Valley experts.
